Chinese Project Coordinator / Manager

Responsibilities


  • Coordinate with external project consultants/parties
  • Project management
    • Project plan development
    • Monitoring of actual project progress vs. plan on a weekly basis
    • Project control
    • Ensure compliance to timesheet entry
    • Self-monitor hours budgeted and consumed on any particular project, understanding whether any project plan deviation issues can be anticipated, raise them and propose resolution to Senior/Lead Designer/Architects
  • To be the key contact point for the client from beginning of project execution to collection of the Projects last invoice payment
  • Regular reporting to client on progress of project and coordination where required
  • Provide design input from a client perspective (design needs, construction budgets and priorities) and a project control perspective project scope, project plan and other contract related factors).
  • Produce project progress reports (individual Project reports and collective Project reports) for discussion within individual project meetings and Design Director Projects Update meetings
Qualification


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Architecture and Landscape Architecture or related fields
  • 1-5 years’ experience in project management or related role
  • Good International exposure and awareness
  • Excellent communication in Chinese Mandarin
  • Knowledge of project financial performance and budgeting
  • Basic project management software skills
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
