Associate - Design (Associate Designer)
1 Position
Responsibilities


1. Design Excellence
- Lead role and responsible person for assigned projects’ design, management and construction administration.
- Execute, develop and refine conceptual designs, based on Design Director’s design direction.
- Review and quality-check drawings and all deliverables for design integrity and accuracy.
- Delegate and monitor design work to design teams to ensure all deliverables meet company standards and deadlines.

2. Team Wellbeing
- Manage and monitor subordinates within the design team to ensure quality and timely project deliverables.
- Lead internal design workshops and support junior designers’ development.

3. Financial
- Set up and manage project plans with Design Director, ensuring alignment with financial targets and resource allocation.
- Monitor work progress and project timelines to ensure efficiency and excellence in deliverables.
- Report to the Design Director on the status and design development of assigned projects.

4. Growth and Business Technology
- Apply new solutions & technology for design quality and enhancement
- Coordinate with Client, consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and cohesive design solutions.
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, site supervision and coordinate and present design ideas clearly and effectively.
- Assist in client coordination, including note-taking and preparation of meeting minutes.
Qualification


-    Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or related discipline. 
-    6 – 10 years of experience in landscape design.
-    Proven design and technical documentation skills.
-    Strong understanding of site planning, planting design, and sustainable principles.
-    Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit or BIM is a plus.
-    Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end project delivery with consultant coordination.
-    Demonstrated ability to translate design intent into construction-ready deliverables.
-    Experience mentoring junior team members and managing project-level resources.
-    Proven communication skills with ability to lead teams and present confidently to clients.
-    Highly professional and collaborative work ethic.
-    Strong time management, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities.
-    Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is a plus for international collaboration.
